According to Tom Rock of Newsday, the New York Giants have waived quarterback Keith Wenning and running back George Winn.

The Giants added Wenning to the practice squad back in December, but with the additions of Geno Smith via free agency and Davis Webb in the draft, the quarterback position got crowded quickly.
At one point, Winn was on the team’s active roster after the injury to Shane Vereen last season, but similar to Wenning, the position has become crowded.
