It was the 50th consecutive preseason meeting between the two franchises, and the New York Giants were able to squeak out the win 22-16.
The G-Men were once again without Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley. It looks as though both will wait until Week 1 before taking the field with their teammates.
Plenty of other players made the most of their opportunities. The Giants played their starters for the entire first half, but the game didn’t get off to a great start.
Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold led Gang Green on a 75-yard touchdown drive to start the game.
