The New York Giants announced the signing of the veteran defender via the team’s official website on June 8, 2017. Reserve center Khaled Holmes was released to make room on the roster for Bryant.
Per Giants.com, “Bryant, 6-4 and 300 pounds, has played in 56 regular-season games with 18 starts. His career totals include 84 tackles (41 solo), 2.5 sacks, two passes defensed, and one forced fumble.”
Since the departure of Johnathan Hankins, the team added draft pick Dalvin Tomlinson. He joined holdovers Robert Thomas and Jay Bromley in an effort to replace Hankins on the defensive front.
