According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the New York Giants have signed wide receiver Jerome Lane.
The Giants signed former Akron WR Jerome Lane. He is the son of former Pitt hoops star Jerome Lane of 'Send it in, Jerome' fame.

Lane, who went undrafted out of Akron in this year’s draft, has lived in the shadow of his father, Jerome, who played in the NBA for over a decade.
The former Akron wide receiver has been touted by NFL.com’s scotuing report for having a large physique, resulting in a “physicallity” at the position.
