New York Giants reserve offensive lineman Michael Bowie was charged with domestic assault. This information is per a staff report from the Tulsa World on August 19, 2017. According to the newspaper report, Bowie allegedly committed the assault against his girlfriend. Citing privacy, the victim has not been named.
In describing the charges, the report referred to court records that indicated that an arrest warrant has been issued for Bowie, along with bonds totaling $17,000.
” [Tulsa Assistant District Attorney Kenneth] Elmore said police determined Bowie grabbed his girlfriend by the neck during the argument and threw her on the ground, then broke two TVs and punched a hole in her wall.
