If you were to ask a New York Giants fan what their top concern is heading into the 2019 season, it’s likely that the most common response you would get would be the pass rushing situation. Due to the team running a 3-4 defense, the lion’s share of that pass rushing responsibility falls on the outside linebackers.
Heading into his second year with the team, Kareem Martin has done little to merit any real consideration for playing time. Still, he somehow found himself penciled in as a starter on the initially released team depth chart. Clearly the team wants to give the 27 year old edge rusher every opportunity to show that he was worth the millions of dollars they threw his way last offseason.
