On Monday, the New York Giants rookies reported to training camp at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, NJ. The veterans reported on Wednesday, however, won’t take the field until Thursday.
The rookies have already taken the field for their initial rookie workouts in this training camp period, with rookie quarterback Daniel Jones taking part in numerous drills with quarterback Kyle Lauletta. The latter was one of the few non-rookies working out with the first-year players on Wednesday.
Although it’s only been a few days thus far into the new chapter for these rookies’ careers, Giants head coach Pat Shurmur is already impressed with what Jones has done.
