It’s been a sad end of the week thus far in the NFL. On Thursday, longtime Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen passed away at the age of 75. Bowlen previously went through a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
The loss hit the entire league hard, as Bowlen was a very influential team owner for years. He took a franchise that was on the edge of bankruptcy and became one of the most successful owners in the history of the league.
On Friday, the New York Giants released a statement regarding the passing of Bowlen.
