There’s been little support for New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman when it comes to selecting quarterback Daniel Jones at No. 6. Since the pick was made, many thought Jones would be available at No. 17, thus giving the Giants the freedom to select a pass-rusher with their initial pick.
Gettleman came out after the pick and said he knew two organizations had their eyes on Jones before the Giants’ pick at No. 17.
The Denver Broncos (No. 10) and Washington Redskins (No. 15) were apparently the teams that also liked the idea of Jones as their future quarterback.
