EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants placed running Saquon Barkley and safety Xavier McKinney on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday as the team deals with a potential widespread outbreak heading into Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Barkley, McKinney, right guard Matt Skura and running backs coach Burton Burns were among 13 members of the Giants organization to test positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday. Burton was the only confirmed positive as the team awaited additional results to determine if the initial findings were incorrect, sources told ESPN.
