New York Giants pick up 5th year option on Jabrill Peppers and Evan Engram’s contracts

The New York Giants have picked up the 5th year option on both Evan Engram and Jabrill Peppers’ contracts.

The Giants are officially picking up the fifth-year option on tight end Evan Engram Jabrill Peppers’ contracts, which was an expected decision from general manager Dave Gettleman and head coach Joe Judge.

Both Engram and Peppers have significant value to the team, despite being on opposite sides of the ball. Engram has been consistently injured throughout the course of his career, but at 25 years old, paying him $6 million in 2021 isn’t detrimental to the team salary cap.
