New York Giants’ offensive ‘arsenal’ ranked 8th overall by ESPN

Bill Barnwell of ESPN, a former Football Outsiders guy and a New York Giants fan, has rated Big Blue’s offensive ‘arsenal’ No. 8 overall in his annual rankings. Last year, he had the Giants second overall and in 2017, Barnwell rated them 20th.

“It’s strangely impressive that the Giants managed to be so uninspiring on offense a year ago with one of the best arsenals in football,” writes Barnwell. “Obviously, trading away Odell Beckham Jr. is going to make any team’s weaponry worse, but the Giants at least have a short-term solution in Golden Tate, who should help soften the blow of willingly trading away a franchise wideout for … reasons.
