We have come to the point in our position-by-position midseason reviews for the New York Giants where we need to discuss the wide receivers. Honestly, it is impossible to do that in one lump sum, so let break our discussion into two parts.
Group A
Beckham was never 100 percent after suffering a high ankle sprain in the preseason vs. the Cleveland Browns. His season ended with 25 catches, 302 yards and a career-low average of 12.1 yards per catch. If I had to grade him individually, it would be a “Kwillie.”
Brandon Marshall is, in my view, a player who never should have been signed by the Giants.
