The New York Giants gave defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul a four-year extension this offseason, knowing plenty about his injury history.

The star defender has played less than 12 games in three of the last four seasons, with the biggest blow coming when he injured his hand due to a fireworks accident two summers ago.

Most would think that a mangled hand would affect his ability to knock down passes, something the lengthy lineman always had a knack of doing prior to his injury.
