New York Giants: Is Eli Manning Too Worried About His Image?

Pride is cool. Having pride is cool. But to a certain extent.

Eli Manning has created an image over his 15-year career with the Giants that he’s a “lead by example, class act” kinda guy.

And for a large part of his career, it worked.

As a young player, Manning was surrounded by outspoken veteran players who had no problem holding teammates accountable.

From Michael Strahan and Antonio Pierce to Antrel Rolle and Justin Tuck.

Captains.

All of whom spent at least five years with the team, thus, earning their place to stand up and say something with validation.
