The rumor was made official, the New York Giants will wear their “Color Rush” jerseys in a nationally televised December match-up. On Dec. 10th, Big Blue will go Color Rush white at MetLife Stadium against the Dallas Cowboys.
According to the team’s official website, “The Color Rush concept debuted in 2015 during four ‘Thursday Night Football’ matchups to commemorate 50 years of NFL games being broadcast in color. It was expanded to all 32 teams last season, and again featured opposing teams wearing one-color uniforms, intentionally designed to clash with their opponent.”
For the New York Giants, the Color Rush concept doubles as a throwback.
