When New York Giants tight end Evan Engram left a week 10 matchup against the Jets, it was thought that he just tweaked his foot, but a mid-foot sprain was revealed after the game concluded.
Engram has been a force on offense, when active, but injuries continue to plague his career, forcing the offense to adapt and rely on options like Rhett Ellison and Scott Simonson, who was recently re-signed.
Through three seasons, Engram has not played in all 16 games, in fact, he has missed a total of 15 games since his inception in the league.
