Last year, the New York Giants were supposed to be a lot better on offense than they were. Despite the struggles on offense, the Giants went 11-5.
The offensive line was terrible, the run game ranked among the worst in the NFL, and despite the presence of two standout wide receivers, the Giants lacked height in the red zone.
New York also lacked a tight end who could split the middle of the field. The Giants attacked these issues through the NFL draft and free agency—right away.
Brandon Marshall and Evan Engram were brought in specifically to fix these problems.
