One of the underdogs for the New York Giants at the cornerback position will be veteran Tony Lippett. He only played three games for Big Blue in 2018 and racked up one tackle and one pass defended. Lippett was still recovering from an Achilles tear that he suffered in August of 2017 as a member of the Miami Dolphins.
This caused him to miss all of 2017, just one season after he made 13 starts for the Dolphins in 2016. Lippett proved to the Giants he can still be an effective player in this league.
