In his 11 seasons in the NFL, Marshall has amassed 941 receptions for 12,061 yards and 82 touchdowns.
With 59 more receptions, he’ll become the 15th player in the 98-year history of the NFL to have 1,000 receptions. Surprisingly Marshall will be the only player to have 1,000 receptions to have never played in a playoff game.
It seems unfathomable that some could play in the league that long and be that productive and never play in a playoff game. Obviously, Marshall doesn’t want to be known as the greatest player to never play in a playoff game, but he knows time is not on his side.
