New York Giants: Beckham, Jenkins don’t attend OTAs

As peculiar as it seems, in professional football, lines have seemingly been drawn. For the most part, there seems to be three factions on the New York Giants. Those factions are: Coughlin guys, Reese guys and the Gettleman guys.

Remember back that former general manager Jerry Reese inherited Tom Coughlin as head coach. He did so after Ernie Accorsi retired. Back in 2007, the transition seemed seamless, as the G-Men captured the Lombardi Trophy in Reese’s first season as GM.

As the years went on, Reese tried to put his own stamp on the team.
