New York Giants head coach Joe Judge has once again leaned into his Alabama connections, reportedly hiring Russ Callaway as an offensive assistant.
Callaway spent the 2020 season as an offensive analyst at LSU. He was offensive coordinator at Samford from 2016-19, wide receivers coach at Murray State in 2013 and 2014, and spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons at Alabama as a defensive analyst. Judge was at Alabama as a special teams assistant from 2009-2011.
Running backs coach Burton Burns, offensive line coach Rob Sale, offensive assistant Jody Wright, senior defensive assistant Jeremy Pruitt, linebackers coach Kevin Sherrer and special projects coach Amos Jones all have ties to Alabama.
