New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo said that he, General Manager Jerry Reese and members of the team’s public relations staff had spoken with Ereck Flowers following Sunday’s night’s locker room incident with ESPN reporter Jordan Ranaan. McAdoo added that Flowers called Ranaan on Monday to apologize.
“He understands that he cannot behave that way. It’s unacceptable,” McAdoo said. “It’s important for us all to have a professional relationship with the media, players and coaches.”
McAdoo said any discipline for Flowers, a second-year offensive tackle, would remain in house and not be made public.
