Disaster is striking for the Giants.
It appears they’re not even getting a chance to speak to Baylor coach Matt Rhule, who according to multiple reports is being hired by the Carolina Panthers to be their new head coach. Rhule’s interview was planned for Tuesday, but it does not look like the Panthers are even letting him head north.
Rhule, 44, was considered the clear favorite for the Giants job after the Dallas Cowboys hired Mike McCarthy.
The Giants are scheduled to interview Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels on Wednesday.
