Malik Nabers projected to be Giants’ first 1,000-yard receiver since Odell Beckham

It’s been a long time since the New York Giants have had a receiver that was properly feared (or respected) by the rest of the NFL. But that very well could be changing in 2024 with the Giants’ selection of Malik Nabers No. 6 overall.

ESPN is projecting the LSU product to finish second among a stacked rookie receiver class with 1,033 yards and 5 touchdowns. If that projection holds true, Nabers would be the first Giants receiver to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark since Odell Beckham Jr. had 1,052 yards in 2018.

It would also (probably) end Darius Slayton’s streak of leading the Giants in receiving.
