ASHBURN, Va. -- The buildup to their first meeting of the season started as soon as cornerback Josh Norman signed with the Washington Redskins. On that late April day, it didn’t take long for New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr.'s name to be mentioned. And a week didn’t seem to pass this offseason without some discussion of their September matchup.
But now with that first game out of the way, their second matchup against each other in Sunday's regular-season finale has caused a lot of shoulder shrugging.
“You guys made more of it than what it really is,” Norman said.
