New Giants coach Joe Judge may be 38 years old, but he has paid his coaching dues, and a story he told at the last Super Bowl Media Day is proof.
Judge, asked to detail the strangest task he had to perform as a young coach, had a story at the ready involving now-former Browns coach Freddie Kitchens — and a swing set.
“So, when I was [graduate assistant] and Freddie was the tight ends and running backs coach at Mississippi State … it was our bye weekend and he grabbed me and another grad assistant named Jody Wright, who’s now working for the Browns,” Judge told Nick Coit of ABC6 in Providence, RI.
