Jobless former Giants lifesaver may be forced into early retirement

The New York Giants entered the 2025 offseason with one clear goal: Just get better. While that might be the biggest over-simplification of all time, that's essentially what it entailed. The quarterback room needed a much-deserved renovation, and to a similar extent, the secondary also needed a facelift.

Well, general manager Joe Schoen and Co. went two-for-two. Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and Jaxson Dart are the new QBs. And Jevón Holland and Paulson Adebo were brought in to shore up the defensive backfield. With young studs Tyler Nubin and Dru Phillips ready to take a second-year leap, and Deonte Banks looking to bounce back from a tumultuous second year himself, it's safe to say this team is good, and likely not looking for more DB help.
