The Giants may not luck out after all. Troubled Dallas pass-rusher Randy Gregory is expected to be active Sunday night, according to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who refuted an ESPN report suggesting Gregory had suffered a substance-abuse relapse in August and could face discipline from the league this week.
“I don’t think these reports have any substance at all, if you really want the truth about it,” the Cowboys’ owner/general manager said Tuesday on 105.3 FM The Fan in Dallas.
The ESPN report came out Sunday, after the Cowboys’ 16-8 loss to the Panthers.
