New York Giants fans clamoring for rookie first-round quarterback Jaxson Dart may have to wait a little longer after Week 2, or so we thought. Incumbent starter Russell Wilson briefly turned the clock back in the team's 40-37 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys, before ultimately turning into a pumpkin.
Wilson had one of the best statistical performances of an illustrious 14-year (and counting) career. He looked like the once-elite quarterback many knew and loved in his heyday — until it mattered most. Nevertheless, the Giants watched him melt down with the result in balance, quickly putting him back in the crosshairs of Big Blue Nation.
