Jason Pierre-Paul’s long-awaited return to the Giants will occur on Monday, according to an NFL Network report.
The star defensive end has shunned the team since he had his right index finger amputated and damaged several others in a fireworks accident on July 4. Pierre-Paul will arrive at the Giants facility for a physical then the Giants and JPP will discuss a plan of action going forward.
After determining how close or far way Pierre-Paul is from taking the field, the Giants will either keep or take away the entire $14.8 million offer on the table for him to sign or reduce it based on however many games they expect him to miss — to the tune 0f $870,000 per game.
