Jason Pierre-Paul gets the green light he’s been waiting for

What was building all week became official on Saturday, as Jason Pierre-Paul was activated onto the Giants’ 53-man roster. He accompanied the team on the charter flight to Tampa, Fla., and will make his 2015 debut Sunday against the Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium.

To make room on the roster, middle linebacker Jon Beason was placed on injured reserve, ending his season. Beason has battled ankle and knee injuries this season.

Now that JPP is getting back into a uniform, what can he do for the Giants?

This comeback was never a sure-thing after Pierre-Paul permanently damaged his right hand in a July 4 fireworks accident.
