New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul has sold his 5,433-square-foot mansion in Boca Raton, Fla., for $1.2 million — exactly the price he paid for it five years ago.
The 28-year-old defensive stud grew up 10 miles south of Boca, in Deerfield Beach, Fla. At a Fourth of July party there two years ago, he badly mangled his right hand in a fireworks accident. Doctors amputated one of his fingers and reconstructed the rest of his hand using skin grafts. Four months after the accident, he returned to the field and played through the pain with a padded club.
