Janoris Jenkins lone bright spot in Giants’ depleted secondary

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Giants’ five-year, $62.5 million investment in cornerback Janoris Jenkins paid dividends Sunday night at Lambeau Field.

On a difficult night for the banged-up Giants’ secondary, Jenkins, who recorded 10 interceptions in his four seasons as a starter with the Rams before signing as a free agent with Big Blue in March, intercepted Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers twice in the first half of Green Bay’s 23-16 victory.

“Takeaways are cool, but we’ve got to come up with the ‘W,’ ” Jenkins said. “We’ve just got to keep working and getting better each and every day.
