Once a Giant, always a Giant (believer) for Victor Cruz.

The former Big Blue receiver, who announced his retirement Tuesday and joined ESPN as an NFL analyst, spent his first day on the job Wednesday defending his preseason predictions to Stephen A. Smith.

“I think the Giants are going to have a tremendous year,” said Cruz, 31, on the “Stephen A. Smith show,” adding they — though, early on, he often referred to the Giants as “we” — are a playoff contender.

“I’m going to go on the record and say they’re going to win 10 games this year, and they’re going to be a playoff team,” he said.
