He understands the logic, believes it can work but, if he had a voice in the decision, Antrel Rolle would not move his friend Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie from cornerback to safety.
“I think DRC can do whatever he wants to do,’’ Rolle, the former Giants safety, told The Post on Monday. “I think he’s gonna buy into it. I personally like DRC better at corner. In my opinion he can be one of the better cornerbacks in the league, without a doubt. Can he make the transition to safety? There’s no doubt about it he can.’’
It is a big and bold move the Giants are attempting.
