New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate spoke with the media on Friday for the first time since his outburst two weeks ago against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He made it clear that he wasn’t trying to get traded with his selfish outburst prior to the NFL’s trade deadline. Instead he said he made a mistake and got caught up in his emotions.
“If you know me and you know my game, I play with a lot of emotion, a lot of passion,” Tate explained Friday, via SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano. “I just got caught up in the moment.
