EAST RUTHERFORD -- Giants coach Ben McAdoo has been talking up Evan Engram's blocking ability since the team selected the tight end in the first round of the draft. It's mostly been a projection to this point, as the Giants haven't worn full pads in a practice since Engram joined the team.
That will change this week. After a day off on Monday, the Giants will put on shoulder pads for the first time for Tuesday's practice.
"I got a little stronger and put on a little more weight," Engram said of his development as a blocker.
