Giants won’t get better chance for revenge against hated rival

Sterling Shepard remembers the moment when he understood “eggsactly” what the Giants’ rivalry with the Eagles means, especially in Philadelphia.

“It’s just a rowdy place to play in,” Shepard said. “We got an egg thrown at us on the bus ride in. That’s the type of game it is.”

Shepard wasn’t sure whether it happened last season or as a rookie.

“It hit right smack dab on my window,” he said.

Evan Engram, who had missed his third straight game with an MCL injury, recalls the helplessness of the Thursday night last month when he and fellow tight end Rhett Ellison were sidelined and forced to watch the humiliation of Eagles 34, Giants 13 at MetLife Stadium.
