The New York Post is reporting that the New York Giants may have to fight off the Philadelphia Eagles if they really want to place Tom Coughlin with offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo.
If the Giants are serious about replacing Tom Coughlin with Ben McAdoo – and they are – they could have some competition for him from a familiar and fierce rival.
McAdoo will interview with the Eagles for their head coaching vacancy on Thursday, two days after he had a formal sit-down with the Giants.
The NFC East competitors and New Jersey Turnpike neighbors also are both interested in Adam Gase, the Bears offensive coordinator.
