EAST RUTHERFORD -- The Giants' embattled offense may have suffered yet another blow ahead of Sunday's do-or-die road game at the Eagles.
Rookie tight end Evan Engram has been placed into the NFL's concussion protocol. A Giants spokesman said it was done as a "precautionary measure," but that no more information is available.
Engram will be limited for Wednesday's practice, as will be wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) and linebacker Keenan Robinson, who also remains in the concussion protocol. Head coach Ben McAdoo is scheduled to speak to reporters after the session.
Engram had his first career touchdown catch in Monday's 24-10 loss to the Lions.
