Never let them know your next move. That’s probably what now-former New York Giants assistant defensive line coach Matt Robinson was thinking this weekend.
Back in early February, news broke that Robinson would be leaving the Baltimore Ravens to join John Harbaugh in East Rutherford as Big Blue's assistant defensive line coach. It felt like another familiar face following Harbs up I-95. On Friday, the move finally became official when the Giants announced the completion of their coaching staff.
And then... 48 hours later, it wasn’t.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday evening that Robinson had a change of heart and would instead be joining the Las Vegas Raiders as their secondary coach.
