The New York Giants are adding defensive tackle Timmy Horne to their 53-man roster, per a report from NFL insider Mike Garafolo. Horne is being signed off the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad.
Giants star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has been dealing with a hamstring injury. Lawrence did not play Week 12 against the New England Patriots, and has played limited snaps in the team’s past two games. He did not practice on Wednesday as the Giants began preparing for their Christmas Day game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Horne, 26, played in 17 games with five starts for the Falcons a season ago.
