Giants select former Eagles’ player for coaching fellowship

The New York Giants have selected former Philadelphia Eagles’ linebacker Jamar Chaney for their Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship internship.

Chaney was on the coaching staff at Mississippi State with head coach Mike Leach. Of course that is the alma mater of Giants’ head coach Joe Judge.

The 34 year-old Chaney played his college ball at Mississippi State and was a seventh round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010 and played with them until 2012. He then played for the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders.
