Giants-Saints final injury report: TE Darren Waller practices again; Evan Neal unlikely to play

New York Giants tight end Darren Waller, on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, practiced for the second straight day on Friday and could be activated in time for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.

Waller has missed five consecutive games with his injury. The Giants opened his 21-day practice window on Thursday.

Head coach Brian Daboll was typically non-committal about Waller’s status for Sunday before Friday’s practice.

“Did some good things [on Thursday], do some more today and see where he’s at,” Daboll said. “Know more after today’s practice.”

Waller’s 36 catches and 384 receiving yards remain second on the team.
