Giants roster moves: Giants quickly bring back four veteran players

[UPDATED 8:35 p.m.:] The New York Giants continued to shuffle their 53-man roster on Wednesday night. Four vested veterans who were released earlier in the day to clear space for players claimed on waivers have been re-signed.

Linebacker Austin Calitro, tight end Tanner Hudson and defensive lineman Nick Williams are back on the 53-man roster. They take the roster spots of the three players placed on injured reserve — edge defender Elerson Smith, offensive lineman Shane Lemieux and cornerback Rodarius Williams. Offensive lineman Max Garcia will be added to the practice squad.

New York Giants coach Brian Daboll announced Wednesday that the team will place three players on the injured reserve.
