It’s not always what you know, but who you know. And in the case of New York Giants undrafted receiver Juice Wells, it was the latter. Wells came to the Big Apple by way of Ole Miss, where his quarterback for the past three years just so happened to be Giants first-round pick, Jaxson Dart.
Unfortunately, that connection wasn’t enough to keep him on the roster. As first reported by ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the G-Men are waiving Wells after a late push in camp. He reportedly “finished the summer strong,” but the finish line came early.
