Tribune (35) is in better position than you might expect. Roster spots come down to a numbers game and the Giants only have eight cornerbacks currently. They figure to keep five corners, so Tribune should have a shot to snag a spot. Tribune got some second-team work during minicamp due to starter Eli Apple's absence with an illness.
Tribune was a starter in his first three seasons at Iowa State, but he was mostly a backup as a senior. He was suspended for the first two games last season due to an OWI arrest and he finished with just 14 tackles in 10 games.
