Jarron Jones was expected to be one of the Giants' most promising undrafted free agent signings, and the New York state native still might be that.
His chances of a quick ascension to the active roster have been dampened, though.
Jones was considered a draftable defensive tackle out of Notre Dame with upside, and he would have had a chance to enter the mix at the position in training camp. However, Jones worked on the offensive line during the offseason program. It appears that is where the Giants plan to use him, which complicates his picture going forward.
