Giants roster countdown, No. 63: Kicking job is Aldrick Rosas' to lose

The kicking job is Rosas' to lose. A product of Southern Oregon, an NAIA school, Rosas has yet to make his NFL debut after losing a preseason competition with Ryan Succop in Tennessee last year. The Giants signed Rosas to a futures contract after last season and they haven't brought in any competition for the 6-foot-2, 195-pounder with a powerful leg.

If Rosas takes care of business this preseason, he'll be the Giants kicker in 2017. But the lack of competition on the roster right now shouldn't provide too much job security because the Giants could easily sign a kicker after rosters are cut down at the end of the preseason.
